Abrantes was played in the National championship in sprint distance triathlon cross. Two athletes from the U.S. Elite Sports Agency were present and collected two podiums.
Octávio Vicente, touted as one of the favorites to win their bracket, early viewed this difficult possibility because of a swimming segment without isothermal fact which made it even more complicated your less good segment. At the end finished 3rd senior and 8th place overall.
Marco Cruz, more focused on long-distance, always used his quick segment BTT and um got great 2nd place among veterans (+40 year old) and finishing the race in 15th place overall.
