Took place last Sunday, day 9, Azores, the league long triathlon. After some uncertainty regarding the date and place, was chosen the city of Ponta Delgada for more a national championship in long distance triathlon.
Jorge Duarte (COO) departed as a favorite yet, immediately at the end of cycling, realized that he could not join the title of national champion to nrº 1 do ranking nacional.
Have the title arredado, just kept the pace to hold the 3rd place and thus ensure the absolute podium.
Nuno Ventura, that left as nrº 2 the national ranking could not be at his level and was 15th overall.
