ITF Pro Circuit Monfortinho Spa (USD 10.000)

Nuno Borges lost in round 1 of the main frame for today 6-2, 7-6 (8).

Was very close to a 3rd set against the French experienced 1.98 m Fabrice Martin (5) to lose in the 2nd September in the tiebreak (10/8), has had four “set points” to close. Large 2nd set of Nuno front of a player 27 years figured at the end of ATP top200 2012.

António Mesquita MAKE podium in Duatló Torres Vedras

Athletes of the U.S. Elite Sports Agency Featured in duathlon Torres Vedras (CN Clubes) with five athletes in general top20.

Another great day for athletes with preparation of U.S. Elite duathlon in Torres Vedras, Standard distance (10km 40 km 5 km), selection test for world of Pontevedra.

Antonio Mesquita got an excellent 3rd place overall (2º sénior), after isolating Gil Maia (2No general) and the winner Sergio Silva, being predominantly for the trio was not reached by the chasing group. After isolating the first race, was the last 5km which were defined positions.

Jorge Duarte was 7th overall (4º sénior) and showed great progress, plus some fatigue due to long triathlon Lisbon.

Renato Teixeira was 13th overall (6º sub23) and featured for the second consecutive podium of the team to be Tribraga 3rd, behind Garmin and Benfica.
The proof is completed by 140 athletes.

ITF Pro Circuit Monfortinho Spa (USD 10.000)

Nuno Borges “sank” Today the Spanish Armada by winning the first two rounds of Qualifying, Tournament of the Professional Tennis Circuit, taking place in Monfortinho.
After the game was postponed to Saturday, the protégé of John May won today 6-1 and 6-0 the Nacho BLAZQUEZ DOMINGUEZ (ESP) and fim afternoon came back on court to defeat Alejandro IBANEZ GALLEGO (ESP) by 6-3 6-3.

Took place on Saturday the National Triathlon Championships in Lisbon long.
Jorge Duarte took 4:12 a.m. to go 1.9 km swimming, 90km of cycling and 21km of running and was 2nd (30-34), Marco Cruz (4h33) was 3rd (40-44) and Nuno Ventura (4h34) 5 was (30-34)
Congratulations on the great result, a race that featured more than 500 participants.

José Afonso National Champion Aquabike 2014

The athlete José Afonso won the, last Sunday, national champion Aquabike (V1). The ordeal had made in anger 7 50m swimming in Douro River and 10km of hard cycling that stemmed from the river to the top of Mount S. Domingos. Renato Teixeira was 5th overall and 2nd sub23.

Took place on 1 May the mountain bike duathlon I Valongo where the athletes the U.S. Elite Sports Agency had absolute control with six podiums.
The big winner is the chronic Antonio Mesquita account only with victories in all of duathlons cross 2014 being the NR1 ranking National.
In a very tough cycling route and a region with many experts in MTB, Athlete of Lousada once again showed their supremacy when the evidence is “on their own”.

Last day 27 April, Estoril was the scene in the first stage of individual national championship triathlon. Several athletes with preparation of the U.S. Elite Sports Agency were present with different objectives. The fact that in Olympic distance (1,5+40+10) served to athletes preparing over Lisbon could do a competitive workout.

The race started with many problems in the swim due to the currents which made the delay more categorized athlete, Renato Teixeira (Tribraga) they had to do yet another proof backwards. In general, the results were positive with the highlight the good performance of athletes Perosinho Francisco and John Cunha. The race was won by Miguel Arraiolos (Benfica) in male and Ana Filipa Santos (Alpiarca) no feminino, being the only athlete under the acorrer 40 minutes.
