Was held on last 13 October, the long awaited new sneakers ace test run of our competition partner SKECHERS. With the presence of leaders of SKECHERS Portugal and Spain, Nuno Sousa and Chencho Lozano Ortiz. With the magnificent scenery of the Park S. Pedro de Avioso in Maia, several athletes from across the country, as the vice-champion of triathlon 2012, James Wolf and the athlete who prepared the para-olympics Rio2016 Peter Basil. Under the technical guidance of coach Urbino Santos, athletes had the opportunity to try the minimalist footwear on different floors and different racing techniques. With the season ending for some, and the other to start, last weekend 13 a 14 October events were held across the country. Noteworthy, João Prates (BTT) who won the trophy in North Alentejo BTT after 2nd place in the last race at Avis. Rogério Ferreira Matos and Hugo also started their season with a cyclo-cross race in Spain.

It is already next Saturday, 13 October, which will perform the tests to run new line of sneakers famous American brand. Wagered on the new generation of competition shoes Gorun, US Elite Sports Agency project was chosen for its testing and disclosure. With the backdrop of Avioso Park Maia, athletes will be able to test the quality of the shoes. With the presence of several national athletes and the head of SKECHERS Spain a small spot will be recorded with the results.

The US Elite Ricardo Barbosa athlete was 2nd overall (1º 35-39) nos 5km atletismo no 4ª Park run (Australia) with time 16:38!

Today, the team prepared for the US Elite Tribraga, traveled to Povoa do Varzim to compete in the final round of the Regional Circuit. The results were spectacular. Junior Renato Teixeira came in 3rd place in the overall standings and managed to get the 2nd place on the podium just 1 second top spot. With this result the team McDonald's / Tribraga crowned for the second time Champion Regional Cicuito North Triathlon / Duathlon. Congratulations therefore to all athletes.
