Disputou-se em Barcelos mais um campeonato nacional de ciclocross, que galardoava o primeiro campeão nacional de 2015, nas modalidades de ciclismo.
Rogério Matos, vice-campeão nacional, tentava recuperar a camisola que já tinha sido sua em 2012. O ciclista de Penafiel tinha estado a um bom nível tanto nas provas da taça de Portugal (sempre melhor Português) como no campeonato Galego de ciclocross.
O resultado final foi ao encontro das suas expectativas ao ser o primeiro a cortar a meta com uma vantagem de mais de 40 segundos para o segundo classificado.
Rogério Matos é assim o primeiro campeão Nacional de 2015. Na taça de Portugal foi 2º classificado absoluto (1º Português).
